Life is a Mystery!!!

Destiny brought us to meet each other,
freindship brought us to know each other;
care and affection brought us close to each other,
love took us miles apart from each other;

The memories still fresh, words still ringing;
hopes still existing,desires still so unfulfilled;
a mind so profound, an articulation of speech so rare;
we were freinds in joy and comforting in tears;

a love lost, a memory gained;
a dream entrenched,the deam of dreams;
the sorrow that i feel makes me hollow within;
the thought of us startles me even in deep sleep;

days have sped by, time has flown
to forget you-that is what i had sworn;
to wipe off your memories from my heart;
to live on, knowing that we are poles apart.

but often, on silent, lonely nghts,
when the moon is shining bright; Must
your thoughts come stealthily to my mind,
and prod other memories left far behind.

Each day starts with you in heart and soul;
each day ends in reliving moments spent in peace;
Still your thoughts awakes me at midnight,
only to discover once again i am so lonely;

of times we had, both good and bad,
of tears we shared and fun we had.
but what went wrong, i have no clue;
but as long as it lasted, i know it was true.

you have touched my life in many ways,
i try explaining, but just cannot say;
i know nothing can replace you and your thoughts;
all i can say and mean is one true "Thank You"

Today i may be wrong,i might portray decisive
but deep within i know the need for it.
you must move on and so must i,
must accept the truth, though with a sigh.

time heals all wounds,but not this one.
the scar remains, the harm is done.
memories are to be treasured,and not to be cried on;
thats why you remain in my heart
to this very day.....
